I'm not going to post about how to give the best presentation, nor the tips and guides to attract your audience. My Professional Communication Skills lecturer does that for a living. I'm not going to start making his life miserable.
(He's the best, by the way, but I'm not going to type his name here lest he finds my blog again via googling his name.)
However, I'm going to teach you how to make the presenter himself or herself feel terrible. It's extremely fun to do, and you can try it out anytime you want. It's bound to work 100%.
All these precious tips are accumulated by my own experiences, and some inputs from my friends as well.
Being in front, he or she can see every facial expression, hear every voice you make. Furthermore, the presenter feels that he/she is being judged, thus making all these tips even more effective.
1. Exaggerate facial expression which expresses disapproval.
Frown. And more frowns. Exaggerate your frown. Practice in front of a mirror!! Frown to yourself. Make the most disgusted frown you can.
2. Practice making sounds which indicates impatience
- Sigh loudly.
- Take deep breaths which are obviously audible.
- Practice making the sound 'tsk'.
- Tap your pen on the table repeatedly.
- Look at your watch and frown.
3. Look bored
YAWN. Rest your chin on your hand. Sigh every now and then.
4. It's time to go verbal!
Say things like:
- I'm very disappointed in you.
- How long have you been here?
- Why are you presenting simple things?
- Didn't you prepare for this?
- I don't want to hear this. Next.
Use your imaginations. Practice it in front of your friends or roomate. Practice it in front of the mirror with suitable expression. Always remember to use hand gesture.
5. Show facial expression of disappointment
- Shakes head and sigh
- Shakes head and close eyes.
- Close eyes and frown
Again, practice makes perfect. Remember to try combinations of expression to find out which is the best for you.
6. Attack
- Make some funny jokes about the presenter's body size. (A must try!)
- Try to get the other audience to laugh with you after pointing out the presenter's mistake.
- Whisper to another friend, look at the presenter, and both you and your friend burst out laughing.
- Make sarcastic remarks.
7. Sleep
There are so many other ways to make the presenter feel bad during a presentation. I'm sure most of you had experienced it before.
However, on a more serious note, it's mean to make a presenter feel bad. The level of bastard-ness and bitchiness in you must be really high to pull it off.

Oh yes, I have came across such people before. Just smile and act dumb. =)
10 years later, it all wouldn't have mattered anyway.
p.s. My fydp presentation yesterday was good. This is not a post to rant.
